Wrknest is currently looking for a Project Manager for the TACTIC project at Kista Science City. This role is perfect for you if you want to combine strategic project management with developing collaborations between the defense sector, industry, and the public sector.
Kista Science City, together with some of Sweden's leading innovation hubs and incubators, has initiated an effort to increase collaboration between the defense sector and technology companies. As Project Manager, you will play a central role in putting this initiative into practice by leading the project and, together with the program manager for cyber and defense, creating long-term structures that strengthen Sweden's innovation capacity within total defense.
You will become part of an initiative with significant strategic importance, aimed at strengthening Sweden's innovation capacity in total defense through increased collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the development of new technology.
Your future responsibilitiesIn this role, you are responsible for creating structure, building collaboration, and driving the project's development together with a large number of stakeholders. You are responsible for reporting and coordination between project partners and in dialogue with funders. You work both strategically and operationally to ensure that the project's goals are met and that the collaboration between project partners continues to develop.
Among other things, you will:
- Lead and develop a national collaboration project from planning to implementation.
- Build and develop relationships with the Swedish Armed Forces, authorities, startups, industrial companies, and innovation actors.
- Coordinate project partners and ensure that common goals are achieved.
- Plan and conduct seminars, innovation sprints, workshops, and other activities.
- Work closely with the communications manager to highlight the project's results.
- An academic degree or equivalent experience.
- At least eight years of experience from strategic and operational roles.
- Documented experience in leading complex projects or strategic initiatives with many stakeholders.
- Experience in creating collaborations between business, authorities, academia, or innovation systems.
- Experience working within or in close collaboration with the defense sector or total defense.
- Very good communication skills in Swedish and English.
- Experience as a reserve officer or other connection to total defense.
- Experience with innovation systems, incubators, accelerators, or public funding.
- Experience in business development, partnerships, or ecosystem building.
