Your role is central and crucial for the company's development and our work in creating safe and sustainable school environments for children in Stockholm.

About the role

As a Sustainability Strategist at SISAB, you are expected to act independently, take initiative, show drive, and be able to plan and execute your own projects. You are accustomed to prioritizing, making business-related trade-offs, finding the right level to achieve the best effect, and acting as a specialist in the field. A key part of the job involves collaborating with units and departments within SISAB, other operations in the City of Stockholm, and external actors.

The position is located within our Executive Office division, which is responsible for business planning, sustainability strategies, board matters, consultations, as well as communication and marketing issues. You will report to the Division Manager.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Drive, shape, develop, and coordinate the company's strategic sustainability work.
• Contribute to the development and monitoring of the company's sustainability goals and handle sustainability reporting, leveraging expertise in areas such as GRI, CSRD, and the EU Taxonomy.
• Add a strategic sustainability perspective to the company's various processes.
• Ability to prioritize initiatives based on business value and impact, while being relationship-building with strong collaboration skills.
• Monitor and analyze changes in the external environment and assess how legal requirements affect the company in the short and long term.
• Create synergies and learning within the sustainability field together with other departments and companies within the City of Stockholm.
• Represent SISAB in sustainability matters and communicate sustainability work both internally and externally.
• Support the company's management by advising on prioritized initiatives to achieve desired benefits and effects in balance with the company's other goals.

We are currently located at Palmfelt Center in the Globen area and will move to new premises next to Luma Park in Hammarby Sjöstad in October 2026. Flexibility and the possibility to work from home are available, but we prefer that you primarily work from the office.

This is a permanent full-time position starting with a six-month probation period. Desired start date is as soon as possible, taking into account any notice period.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have:

• A university degree with a focus on sustainability, urban planning, or another relevant field.
• At least five years of experience in qualified work with sustainability issues and experience in taking initiative, analyzing, and developing sustainability issues independently.
• Experience working with GRI. Knowledge of CSRD and the EU Taxonomy.
• Responsibility for the overall development of sustainability work, and if you have been a driving force in sustainability-related networks and/or have experience in sustainability work in the property and construction industry.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Worked within the City of Stockholm or have other experience that has given you good knowledge and understanding of the city's organization.
• Previously worked in a politically governed organization. Competence in change management, CSRD reporting, and communication.
