This young man lives an active life, has a sense of humor, is social and talkative, caring, and loves to play around! Due to a congenital viral infection, he has a cerebral palsy (CP) disability and uses a wheelchair. He can stand for short periods and take a few steps.

During the week, he works at 'Daglig verksamhet' (Day Activity Center) at Move and Walk, where physical training is an important part of the day.

Activities such as bowling, indoor floorball, boccia, and visits to the swimming pool are also on the schedule every week after work. Watching racing, listening to music, going to concerts, and attending other events are major interests. Boat trips and camps during the summer, as well as ski trips with his family to Åre in the winter, are other highlights of the year.

The role of his personal assistant involves helping with showering, personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, transfers, stretching, training, meals, shopping, and household organization.

This is a close and practical job, so it is important that you feel comfortable with this type of personal assistance. Your role as an assistant will be to act as his extra arms and legs, and to be the motivating force in his daily life.

We are looking for you who is an engaged and responsive person who intuitively sees what needs to be done and does not hesitate to take initiative. You are patient, have a good sense of humor, and enjoy the challenge of being active and creative in your work. Your personal qualities weigh heavier than previous experience, although work in similar areas is certainly seen as an advantage.

A requirement for the position is that you have a driver's license to assist with travel and excursions.

The employment level for the position is full-time (100%), but before starting, we offer introductory shifts as a hourly employee to ensure that you feel safe and prepared in your new role. The work is scheduled on a rolling basis and primarily covers days, evenings, and weekends.
