to apply for the job
We are looking for a Group Accounting Manager for our administrative office in Sköndal, and I am completely convinced that this is a role that many skilled and experienced accountants would enjoy.
This is not a "sit-in-the-corner-and-reconcile" role. You are the person responsible both strategically and operationally for the group accounting.
Together with us on the finance department (10 people), and using the systems Capego and Raindance, you will serve as a core financial competence in our land sales, while also having a more classic role in group accounting within healthcare and social care.
We maintain high quality in our work on the department and are looking for a strong team player with the same mindset.
You report directly to me as the Finance Director and have both the mandate and the trust to influence how we work.
This is a role similar to an Accounting Manager, but in a format that many appreciate; you get to lead, develop, and take responsibility, without having to carry everything alone.
We are a group with 22 companies. All accounting is done in-house, sometimes in a complex environment related to company sales concerning our large land area and its development.
Within our healthcare and social care area, the environment is more regular. At the same time, the culture here is non-hierarchical, solution-oriented, and very team-focused.
If you are today a confident, experienced group accounting accountant, preferably from the real estate world, who wants to come closer to the soft values found within our diaconal foundation in healthcare and social care for the weaker individuals in society, then this is the right role for you.
The position is a full-time employment with an initial probationary period. We work in a hybrid model where some days a week are spent on-site at our office in Sköndal. Start date by agreement. Interviews will take place from mid-August, after the application period has ended.
In this recruitment, we refrain from cooperating with recruitment and staffing agencies.
We are an idealistic and non-profit distribution organization within support, healthcare, social care, education, and research. The fact that we do not distribute profits allows us to invest all resources in performing our mission as well as possible. Since 1905, operations within the Stora Sköndal Foundation have developed, changed, and improved. Some operations remain, others are completely new. But one thing does not change: We still work based on the belief in the equal value of all people.
Every day we want to make life better for all the people we meet in our operations. Today we have approximately 1,100 employees, both monthly and hourly paid, who together work towards our vision – a society with a clear place for everyone. Our culture is permeated by our values – equality, care, and change.
