About the role
We are currently looking for a part-time Economic Administrator (Ekonomihandläggare) for the Swedish Customs Authority (Tullverket) in Sundsvall. In this role, you will work with ongoing accounting and economic administration, with a special focus on EU-funded projects. You are responsible for ensuring that financial documentation meets high quality standards and that reporting processes comply with current requirements and guidelines.

You will become part of the Finance and Planning Unit, where you will support operations with ongoing financial work during a transition period.

Please note that the authority conducts security-classified operations, which means the assignment cannot begin until a background check and register check for the final candidate have been completed and approved.

The role includes, among other things:

  • Handling of supplier accounts, including payments, re-reporting, registration, and verification of suppliers.
  • Accounting coding and administration of invoices.
  • Collection, quality assurance, and compilation of financial documentation for the reporting of EU-funded projects.
  • Support and assistance with accounting coding questions for other departments.

Assignment period and scope:
The position of Economic Administrator is a part-time consulting assignment (75–80%) starting on 2026-08-10 and is expected to last until February 2027.
The work is primarily based at the Swedish Customs Authority's office in Sundsvall. Once you are settled in the role, there is an opportunity for some remote work by agreement.

Requirements for the position:

  • Upper secondary education or equivalent.
  • At least one (1) year of work experience as an economic assistant.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of financial systems (e.g., Unit 4 ERP, Raindance, Visma, etc.).
  • Fluent communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

To be considered for further steps in the process, you must clearly state in your CV that all the above requirements are met. Specify which assignment(s) demonstrate the requested experience. The time period should be stated in years and months (YY-MM).

To ensure a competency-based recruitment process, we use psychometric tests in this selection. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Selection is ongoing, and the application deadline is 2026-07-06.
