Tyresö Figure Skating Club is looking for a coach – help develop the skaters of the future in a club characterized by joy, community, and quality
Do you want to help develop skaters in a club where joy, development, and community are at the center?
Tyresö Figure Skating Club is now looking for an engaged and inspiring coach who wants to contribute to a safe and developmental training environment for our skaters.
We are looking for you who want to become part of our wonderful coaching team. You who are passionate about figure skating and want to help create an activity where children, young people, and adults get the opportunity to develop based on their own prerequisites, goals, and ambitions.
At our club, the coach's role is important – not only for the skaters' technical development, but also for creating motivation, security, joy, and a sense of club belonging.
Tyresö Figure Skating Club is a growing club with engaged skaters, coaches, and volunteers. We offer activities for children, young people, and adults at different levels, from beginners to competitive skaters.
Our ambition is to create an environment where every individual gets the opportunity to develop based on their own prerequisites, goals, and ambitions – in a positive and supportive community.
We are primarily looking for you who are cheerful, positive, engaged, and confident in your coaching role. You have a clear and warm leadership style and enjoy working with children and young people. We place great emphasis on teamwork skills, personal qualities, and positive leadership traits.
We would like you to:
- Have documented coaching education within the Swedish Figure Skating Association, preferably step/level 3 or higher, or equivalent foreign coaching education.
- Have experience training skaters at different levels.
- Have a good understanding of Swedish figure skating, competition systems, and current rules.
- Be pedagogical and able to adapt training to the skater's individual prerequisites.
- Be a good role model both on and off the ice and have a pedagogical and inclusive approach.
- Have good teamwork skills and thrive working in a team.
- Be structured, responsible, and communicative.
- Want to contribute to a positive club culture where skaters feel seen and secure.
It is an advantage if you have experience with choreography, competition programs, off-ice/physical training, video analysis, or other pedagogical education.
