Teacher for After-School Center at Fastebol-Högby Schools, Järfälla

Fastebol-Högby Schools is a unit within the Education Administration in Järfälla Municipality. The unit offers activities for primary school grades F-6, including preschool class, after-school center, and middle school activities. The schools are located in Viksjö, with proximity to Lake Mälaren, green areas, and good transportation links by both bus and train.

The unit has approximately 450 curious and eager students and 60 employees distributed across two nearby schools, Fastebolskolan and Högbyskolan, sharing a common value base, pedagogical foundation, and working methods.

Here, you will work in a stable and competent organization with professional, engaged, and collaborative colleagues. You will work with experienced colleagues at Fastebolskolan focusing on practical-aesthetic learning processes in the subject of Physical Education and Health.

Responsibilities

• Teaching at the after-school center
• Responsibility for the grade-level after-school activities
• Develop teaching at the Fastebol-Högby Schools after-school center together with other teachers
• Collegial collaboration with our staff

Qualifications

• Degree as a teacher in after-school pedagogy or after-school pedagogue
• Teaching license
• Work experience in pedagogical work is an advantage
• Education or competence that broadens the pedagogical work is an advantage
• You are a driven team player who sees strength in collegial collaboration
