Distra Gymnasium is a high school located in Örnsberg.

According to the Swedish Schools Inspectorate's student surveys, we rank at the top in Stockholm regarding satisfied students and teachers.

At our school, the focus is on well-being and security, where everyone feels seen and heard. We have small teaching groups with approximately 15–24 students per group. This gives us greater opportunities to help each student achieve their goals.

We are currently in need of teachers who can teach vocational subjects on the Sales Programme.

It is an advantage if you can teach any of the following subjects:

• Natural Sciences
• History
• Social Studies

The position is a permanent full-time employment. It is an advantage if you are a certified teacher in sales. The school offers holiday service.

You should be curious and willing to meet students where they are in their development, as well as have the desire to create conditions for every student to succeed.

You should be accustomed to collaborating with others, but above all, be able to drive your own ideas regarding teaching.

You should feel comfortable working with computers in teaching and be willing to propose ideas on how we can achieve our set goals using new technology and individual solutions.

In a vocational education, most of our students have chosen the school based on a specific profession. Here lies your challenge: to dare to challenge the students in your subjects so that they both develop an interest and understand why it is of utmost importance to pass your courses. You must be able to see opportunities in every individual and want to find paths that suit even those who have given up on themselves.

Our students should feel safe and welcome in a creative and developing learning environment.

If you have experience working with students who have neuropsychiatric disabilities, this is a significant advantage.
