Distra Gymnasium is a upper secondary school located in Örnsberg. The school offers industry-recommended education programs within Construction and Commerce.

We are looking for you who want to contribute to the development of our student health services. Currently, we are seeking a substitute for the School Counselor (approx. 40%) and a School Psychologist/Counselor (approx. 40%). If you are open to taking on both roles at the school, we can offer a full-time position.

The substitute positions are for a colleague on parental leave and will last until November 1, 2026.

You will play a central role at the school. Together with our dedicated student health team, you will work closely with students and teachers to ensure a well-functioning school day. Your task will be to coach, motivate, and guide our students toward their goals.

At our school, the focus is on well-being and safety, where everyone feels seen and has the opportunity to speak up. We have small class sizes of approximately 15–22 students per group. This gives us greater opportunities to help each individual student reach their goals.

We offer education in Construction and Infrastructure with a focus on painting and house building. Since the autumn term of 2016, we have also offered the Commerce and Administration program with a focus on commerce and service. We provide both national programs and introductory courses within these specializations. The school currently has around 270 students.
