Do you want to help strengthen the future of small craft businesses? The Handicraft Academy is looking for a structured, relationship-building, and communicative person for a multi-year ESF-funded project on competence development for small craft businesses in the Stockholm region.
The position is a combination of two roles: Project Coordinator, 80%, and Project Communicator, 20%. The role suits you if you enjoy operational coordination, participant contact, and administration, as well as communicating clearly with businesses, participants, and other target groups.
The project targets small business owners, sole proprietors, and micro-enterprises, and includes digital visibility, marketing, business development, sales, pricing, financial management, and sustainable entrepreneurship. The project is based on short and flexible educational initiatives, workshops, micro-modules, mentoring, and networking.
The position is 100% for a period of 35 months.
As part of our project team, you will:
- Coordinate the project's activities, workshops, and educational initiatives
- Maintain contact with participants, businesses, and external trainers
- Plan and coordinate practical implementation
- Work with continuous intake of participants
- Handle documentation, participant lists, and materials for follow-up
- Create and adapt information for participants and businesses
- Contribute to communication, mobilization, and visibility of the project
- Support the dissemination of the project's results
Competence Requirements
- Experience in project coordination, project administration, or similar operational coordination.
- Strong administrative skills and experience in managing several parallel tasks.
- Experience in participant contact, educational administration, workshops, events, or similar.
- Experience in communication, preferably target-group-adapted communication to businesses, members, or participants.
- Very good ability to express yourself clearly in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
- Experience with social media, newsletters, web, or other digital communication.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with ESF projects, public funding, or similar development projects.
- Experience with small businesses, industry organizations, vocational training, competence development, or business development.
- Interest in handicrafts and small business entrepreneurship.
About the Handicraft Academy
The Handicraft Academy is a university college that educates within narrow handicraft professions. In the implementation project, the purpose is to develop the competence of small craft business owners in the Stockholm area.
The project gives you the opportunity to work closely with small business owners and contribute to practical, operationally close, and meaningful development work.
Scope and Employment Period
The position is 100% and is time-limited to the project period.
The position consists of:
- project coordination, 80%
- project communication, 20%
Start date: by agreement.
Employment period: approximately 35 months.
Location: Stockholm, with some possibility for flexible work. Some meetings and activities take place on-site at the Handicraft Academy, Medborgarplatsen.
