Are you analytical, business-oriented, and thrive in the borderland between procurement and finance? At Vindex, we are currently looking for a Procurement Controller for a consultancy assignment with one of our clients in Stockholm. The position is approximately 60% with a start date in August (to be agreed upon) and is expected to last for approximately 4–6 months.

This role is ideal for you if you have a good understanding of accounting, are system proficient, are highly experienced in working with Excel, and enjoy working with analysis, follow-up, and improvement of financial processes related to procurement.

About the Role

As a Procurement Controller, you will serve as a key link between the procurement function and the finance department. You will have overall responsibility for financial processes related to procurement, working with follow-up, analysis, and reporting of procurement-related costs and KPIs. Through a structured approach, you will contribute to developing and quality-assuring processes while ensuring a reliable basis for decision-making.

You will work closely with the procurement organization to monitor contracts, supplier data, and financial outcomes, contributing analyses that strengthen the company's cost control and business decisions. This role suits you if you thrive in the intersection of procurement and finance and appreciate combining analysis, business understanding, and a proactive work style.

Main Responsibilities

• Preparing forecasts, actuals, and financial follow-up within the procurement area
• Reporting and analysis of procurement-related costs and KPIs
• Monitoring contracts, compliance, and supplier data
• Collecting, processing, and analyzing procurement statistics
• Supporting the procurement organization in analysis and follow-up work
• Creating and further developing tools and reports in Excel
• Ensuring quality and structure in financial processes related to procurement
• Collaborating closely with the finance department regarding bookings, follow-up, and reporting

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in economics, for example from a university or college
• Previous experience as a controller, procurement controller, or in a similar analytical finance role
• Good understanding of accounting and financial flows
• Very good skills in Excel
• Experience in analysis, reporting, and follow-up
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

You work comfortably in Excel and other business and reporting systems, and you find it easy to get up to speed with new digital tools and ways of working. You appreciate creating order and structure, take responsibility for your deliverables, and have the ability to drive work forward even in a changing environment.
