As a Trade Project Manager at Swedac, you will contribute to developing our work in trade promotion. You will develop initiatives within trade promotion, with the starting point being the needs of Swedish companies for a functioning quality infrastructure in trade with other countries.

The workplace is either in Borås, where the authority's office is located, or in Stockholm, where Swedac currently has three employees with office spaces in the Growth Agency's premises. The role involves extensive travel, both between locations and internationally.

About the role

In this role, you work to strengthen Swedish trade by developing and using quality infrastructure as a strategic tool. The role involves contributing with analyses and expertise to strengthen Swedish trade through quality infrastructure. You will participate in external relations with authorities and the business community.

Your main responsibilities

  • Contribute to trade-promoting initiatives related to quality infrastructure within the unit.
  • Participate in building and developing relationships with Swedish companies with international operations.
  • Analyze how quality infrastructure can be used to promote trade.
  • Participate when Swedac contributes its expertise to authorities, foreign missions, and international collaborations.
  • Participate in international efforts and smaller projects that promote Swedish trade.
  • Create materials for meetings, take meeting minutes, and perform other administrative tasks.

Organizationally, you are placed in the unit for international development cooperation and trade, which is one of three units in the department for authority development and service.

We are looking for you who have:

  • At least a bachelor's degree in a field that the employer deems relevant.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English.
  • Experience working with Sweden's promotion on a Swedish authority, or experience from regional trade promotion, or experience that the employer deems equivalent.
  • Experience from working in the private sector, especially with international trade, is meritorious.
  • Experience from working with quality infrastructure is meritorious.

Start date is by agreement. We apply individual salary setting and your permanent employment begins with a 6-month probationary period.
