The Health and Elder Care Administration is one of Borås City's largest departments.

We are now looking for you who want to work as an Administrative Coordinator in the department's healthcare organization!

About the operations

The healthcare operations consist of approximately 300 nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, pharmacists, assistant nurses, and rehabilitation assistants distributed across ten healthcare teams. The management function consists of a business manager and eleven unit managers, one of whom works as a management support with a development assignment. You will be part of a working group with five experienced administrative coordinators. Together, we develop municipal healthcare to provide our patients with the best possible care, now and in the future!

We have our offices at Ramnåsgatan 1, located near the Central Station and Travel Center, with the beautiful Ramna Park nearby.

Job Responsibilities

In your role, you serve as a broad administrative support for the department's managers. All coordinators have fundamentally the same tasks, and we collaborate on many shared issues. In addition, we also have our own specific areas of responsibility.

You plan and organize the workflow in consultation with the managers. Examples of tasks include managing personnel administration for new hires and coordinating, preparing, and handling practical matters related to meetings and training. Other examples of tasks include scheduling, as well as inventory and ordering of equipment and materials. You maintain ongoing contact with internal and external parties. You are also a good ambassador for the operations and contribute continuously to the development and improvement of our administrative methods and routines.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a relevant university degree or alternatively a vocational college education (at least 1 year) with a focus on administration, preferably within the care and nursing sector.

To succeed in the position, you must have good IT and system skills. Experience with Heroma, Tes, Viva, TimeCare-pool, Cerix, and Agresso is merited, as is experience within the healthcare sector.

You are service-oriented and flexible, and you thrive with having many things going on at the same time while handling many contact surfaces. Good teamwork skills, an open and positive attitude, and wholehearted engagement are also seen as necessary for the position.

It is important that you are structured and self-initiating, and that you have a very good ability to plan and prioritize, and to reprioritize when conditions change with short notice. This is particularly important because the role is independent and because the workload and work pace can be very high at times. You need the capacity to work quickly and handle several tasks in parallel without affecting quality.

A driver's license is a requirement.

Application

Send your application with attached documents via our application function, which you can access via "Search Job" below.

Other Information

In addition to meaningful tasks, good working conditions, and professional colleagues, as an employee of Borås City, you will enjoy several staff benefits, including a fitness allowance, free entry to the municipality's outdoor centers, swimming pools, and adventure baths, and free coffee/tea.

To facilitate combining work and private life, we apply flexible hours when the work allows.

We look forward to receiving your application!
