Who are you? We are now looking for a lawyer who wants to work closely with people and make a concrete difference in their daily lives. Here, you will have a central role where you help people receive the support they are entitled to and drive processes that can change lives. We are looking for you who have a law degree, preferably with a focus on administrative law, social law, or administrative procedural law. Experience in the field is meritorious, but we place at least as much importance on who you are as a person. You have a genuine commitment to people's rights and thrive in a role where law is combined with human interaction. You are responsible, structured, and meticulous. At the same time, you are receptive, unpretentious, and have an easy time building trusting relationships. It is a requirement for the position that you can express yourself very well both orally and in writing, as language is our primary tool. If you also have knowledge of languages other than Swedish, it is a plus. About the position We are looking for a new colleague for our headquarters in central Gothenburg. You will become part of a legal function with two lawyers and will work closely with an experienced colleague with opportunities for support and advice. At the same time, you will have your own responsibility for your customers and processes, which gives both freedom and the opportunity to develop in the role. As a lawyer with us, you are the representative for our customers throughout the entire process, from the application for personal assistance to a final decision and, when necessary, further to court. The application process often involves an intensive phase with close contact with the customer and representatives to compile a written needs description. We usually handle contacts with case handlers and participate in meetings and investigation interviews together with authorities, which largely takes place in the homes of our customers. Therefore, a driver's license is desirable. We are also responsible for our customers in Värmland, which means travel may occur, sometimes with overnight stays. As a lawyer at Passal, you will also function as a legal support for other employees at the office within the area. As the legal field is constantly developing, we actively work with environmental scanning, competence development, and participate in both local and national lawyer networks. At Passal, the law does not stop at the individual case. We also work to strengthen personal assistance as a reform through, among other things, opinion articles, dialogue with decision-makers, and active advocacy work.
