We are looking for an independent and non-hierarchical accounting economist with strong drive and great flexibility for a technology consulting company in central Gothenburg. As an accounting economist, you are responsible for the company's accounting, closing, follow-up, and reporting.

You will work in a broad role that offers great variety. For the right person, the role will offer significant opportunities for development.

About the role

Your responsibilities as an accounting economist range from budgeting and forecasting to reconciliations, closing, and reporting. The tasks include:

• Ongoing accounting and responsibility for customer and supplier ledgers
• Accounting for VAT and taxes
• Reconciliations, closing, and annual accounts according to K3
• Monthly reporting to management, parent company, employees, and board
• Follow-up and analysis of results
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Statistics and other ongoing economic administration
• Ongoing contact with auditors and the bank
• Participation in improvement work, implementation of new routines and system support, and continuous process efficiency improvements.

In the role of accounting economist, you report to the company's CFO, and the finance team consists of you and a finance assistant.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have

• Relevant post-secondary education in economics and at least 3–5 years of work experience in similar tasks.
• Good experience working in financial systems, preferably cloud-based solutions, and good knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.

More about the position

• Start date: Immediately, according to agreement

• The assignment is a "temp-to-perm" opportunity. You will be employed by us at Andara for the first 6 months, after which the employment will transfer to our client if both parties wish.
