About the unit

The Swedish Armed Forces Telecommunications and Information Systems Unit (FMTIS) has the main task of managing the operation and maintenance of command and control support systems at all readiness levels, both nationally and internationally. The unit you will belong to is led from Örebro, but the work is based in Stockholm.

Main responsibilities

Join the unit's quartermaster group as a soldier. The quartermaster group has several varied tasks, including supporting logistics, primarily with various types of transport. The quartermaster group will also handle protective services such as firefighting, rescue, and clearance. The Swedish Armed Forces are experiencing strong growth, and the tasks may develop over time.

Qualifications

• Completed military basic training
• Swedish citizenship
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
• Category B driver's license
• No fur allergy, or mild/symptom-free allergy with medication

QUALIFICATIONS

• Category C driver's license
• Firefighter (Smoke diver)
• Firefighter leader
• Medical training
• CBRN training

Other

Employment type: Fixed-term GSS agreement. The Swedish Armed Forces apply a six-month probationary period for those not already employed by the agency.

Employment level: Full-time.

Work location: Central Stockholm. Business travel occurs, as well as work at irregular hours.
