About the unit
The Swedish Armed Forces Telecommunications and Information Systems Unit (FMTIS) has the main task of managing the operation and maintenance of command and control support systems at all readiness levels, both nationally and internationally. The unit you will belong to is led from Örebro, but the work is carried out in Stockholm.
Main responsibilities
Your role involves leading a support group in daily operations. The support group has a variety of tasks, primarily supporting logistics with various types of transportation. The group is also responsible for protective services, such as firefighting, rescue, and clearance. As the Swedish Armed Forces are experiencing strong growth, the tasks may evolve over time.

Requirements
- Completed military basic training.
- Swedish citizenship.
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
- Category B driver's license.
- No fur allergy, or a mild/symptom-free fur allergy when medicated.
Meritorious qualifications
- Category C driver's license.
- Firefighter (smoke diving).
- Firefighter leader.
- Medical training.
- CBRN training.

Other information
Employment type: Fixed-term GSS agreement.
The Swedish Armed Forces apply a six-month probation period for those not already employed by the agency.
Employment level: Full-time.
Work location: Central Stockholm. Business travel occurs, as well as work at irregular hours.
Start date and salary: According to agreement.
