The Military Intelligence and Security Service (Must) conducts defense intelligence and military intelligence and security services to support Swedish foreign, defense, and security policy, as well as mapping external threats against Sweden.

About the Unit
Must's logistics function is organized within the Must staff directly under the Chief of Staff. The Must staff supports the Commander of Must (C Must) and coordinates operations so that C Must can effectively exercise their functional and operational responsibilities both within the Swedish Armed Forces and in the total defense.
Main Responsibilities
The role of Must Logistics Chief involves leading Must's production planning and supporting C Must in their role as Materiel Area Responsible Commander (MOAC). Must develops and produces its own materiel systems but also uses materiel systems where MOAC responsibilities lie in other parts of the Swedish Armed Forces. This requires a good understanding of the Swedish Armed Forces' materiel supply process.
Must's supply process is both growing and changing. This means that tasks may develop and change over time, and upon employment, you will be responsible for organizing Must's logistics function.
As Logistics Chief, you have personnel responsibility and lead your unit in daily operations. You are also responsible for developing and implementing processes related to materiel supply, lifecycle management, and asset reporting. Furthermore, you handle deviations from the Swedish Armed Forces' standard production processes required due to Must's specific operations.
Qualifications
- Logistics Officer position, OF4.
- Several years of service within the Swedish Armed Forces' logistics function.
Merits
- Good knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces' production process, especially the materiel supply process.
- Previous experience in introducing processes and implementing change initiatives in operations.
- Knowledge of relevant management support systems for production planning and materiel reporting, e.g., IOR FM, LIFT, PRIO.
- Experience working at higher staff levels.
