As an operator at the 135th Security Squadron, you will work within military security service, focusing on the collection of security intelligence aimed at indicating and identifying suspected security threats to the Swedish Armed Forces' protected values.

In your employment, you will work on a highly relevant task with a constantly changing threat landscape. The work is very long-term and conducted with high discretion. As a person, you should be patient, result-oriented, and possess a high ability for creative thinking.

Currently, the 135th Security Squadron is seeking:

Soldier Security Market Troop (GSS-K)

Soldier Reconnaissance Troop (GSS-K)

Positions: Acting Group Commander C, Dog Handler, Farbsoldat (Specialized Security Soldier), Advanced Medic, Support Gunner (KSP, PSG)

Main Responsibilities

The daily work is varied and includes everything from training and education to the execution of operational activities. An important part is also the development of operations within your future area of work.

The employment begins with an approximately 6-month basic course. After a successful result, you will be placed in a suitable position. Position-specific training begins after the common basic course.

For the Security Market Troop, we are looking for you who have particularly good physical ability and good soldier skills. For the Reconnaissance Troop, we are looking for you who have good social competence and much life experience.

Requirements

• Completed and approved military basic training
• At least 1 year of work experience after high school
• B-driver's license
• Swedish citizenship
• Completed and approved results in accordance with FMFysS
• No or mild fur allergy when medicated
• Approved result on selection tests after a combined assessment

Meritorious Qualifications

• Experience and training in covert collection in terrain and urban environments
• Work in security unit service or reconnaissance service in the Swedish Armed Forces or organization
• Completed and approved military police training
• Military driving permit and further driving training civil/military
• Experience of national/international deployment
• Medical training CLS, Ranger Medic, Advanced Medic
• Field work training, mainly mine and explosive service and fording
• HUMINT training

• During the recruitment process, selection tests according to the above requirements will be conducted over four days. The test will be physically and mentally demanding, and you should not drive on Sunday after the test

The Life Guards is one of the Swedish Armed Forces' largest units with origins dating back to 1521. We train tomorrow's soldiers, as well as military police and personnel who will carry out international deployments. We guard the royal castles, we have security and ground combat units. We are also responsible for preserving and developing the Swedish military music tradition. Our headquarters are in Kungsängen outside Stockholm, but we are also located in Sollentuna, central Stockholm, Uppsala, Gothenburg, and Karlskrona.
