Do you want to work with operations, command systems, and technical coordination in a business where availability and functionality are crucial? We are now looking for an Operations Manager with technical competence and a good ability to collaborate and lead within operations and command support systems.
About the Department
In the role of Operations Manager, you belong to the regimental staff and work at the Command and Communications Department (G6). G6 is responsible for coordinating, leading, and directing the command support systems at the Life Guards. The department consists of the Communications Officer, Communications Officer, Signals Security Officer, IT Manager, Systems Engineer, and a Staff Assistant. Together, these form an important support function for the unit's command and communications operations.
Main Responsibilities
As an Operations Manager, you are responsible for monitoring, controlling, and ensuring the operation of the command group's systems, services, and servers. You work operationally with the deployment and support of communication and information systems and coordinate technical issues between different organizational units.
The role includes among other things:
- Monitor and control the operation of systems, services, and servers
- Lead and support the deployment of communication and information systems
- Ensure that the correct deployment media and configuration orders are available
- Collaborate with organizational units within communication and information systems
- Support leadership at the organizational unit
- Monitor and manage certificate management in command systems
- Report operational disturbances via email, including proposed measures and estimated resolution time
- Identify and report needs for support or reinforcement to higher management to ensure operations

- Education or experience as an IS Operations Manager

Merits
- Practical experience with the Swedish Armed Forces' command support system (LSS Mark)
- Knowledge in MKN SHQ, SWECCIS, HF, TCT, network planning, and/or radio link
- Experience in server operations and system administration
