The Military Police Combat School is looking for a Lead Instructor in Traffic, based at the Military Police Combat School (MPSS) in Bro, outside Kungsängen. The Military Police Combat School belongs to the Life Guards and is responsible for the central training of continuously serving personnel and the development of the Armed Forces' military police operations, materiel, and equipment.

Main Responsibilities

The role of Lead Instructor in Traffic is a varied position where you are responsible for the planning, implementation, reporting, and documentation of training within military police service. You act as a teacher and mentor colleagues, primarily within traffic services. You lead personnel within the course operations and are responsible for assigned materiel and joint training equipment.

In addition, you participate in educational councils and the development of the Military Police Combat School's curriculum. You contribute to investigations within the educational function and follow up on locally conducted courses. The position also requires operational service, including deployments and operations as a military police officer.

Qualifications

  • Trained and approved specialist officer
  • Trained military police officer
  • Trained traffic service and traffic post instructor
  • Experience as an instructor in military police service
  • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone with very good pedagogical and analytical skills. You are structured, have a pronounced sense of order, and are good at informing and communicating. You thrive working both independently and in teams, and find it easy to collaborate with units and schools within the Armed Forces as well as with other government agencies. You have high stress tolerance and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
