We are now looking for a Management Coordinator for the Health and Social Care Management Support, Unit 1.

Your workplace

Management Support is responsible for preparatory support, coordinated executive support, and strategic support for health and social care. The unit plays a central role in the region's governance and contributes to efficient management processes, well-founded decision-making materials, and cohesive governance in close collaboration with political leadership and the highest executive management of health and social care.

Your responsibilities

As a Management Coordinator, you play a central role in the unit's work and provide qualified administrative and strategic support. The role is broad and varied, offering you the opportunity to work closely with the organization's leadership in a function where structure, coordination, and development are in focus.

You are responsible for preparing and coordinating background materials, presentations, and investigations, as well as planning and following up on management meetings. The assignment also includes ensuring that decisions are implemented by driving issues and assignments forward after the management group's decisions. You continuously work on developing and streamlining working methods and contribute to well-functioning decision-making processes. Together with other support functions in the region, you create a coordinated and efficient support for the operations.

Your skills and competencies

We are looking for someone who thrives in a central and coordinating role where structure, collaboration, and service are in focus. You are proactive, see what needs to be done, and have the ability to drive the work forward. You can switch between details and the big picture, and are accustomed to handling many parallel issues simultaneously.

As a person, you are structured, solution-focused, and confident in your role. You have a talent for coordinating and creating common working methods, and you see development and improvement of processes as a natural part of your work. You are receptive but also clear when necessary. Integrity, teamwork skills, and a sense of the whole are seen as crucial attributes.

We are looking for someone with an academic education in, for example, communication, social sciences, or another education that the employer considers equivalent. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience working in a politically governed organization, preferably within health and social care. Furthermore, you have good knowledge of Microsoft 365, and experience with document and case management systems is an advantage.
