The Executive Committee supports the entire municipal group and has a coordinating role within the functions of finance and control, HR, communication, procurement, staffing, development support, and case handling and investigation.
Description
The HR department in Kil consists of 13 people. This includes payroll administration, pension administration, the staffing unit, two HR consultants, and a project manager for gender equality integration. The group of payroll administrators is a small, tight-knit team where everyone has their own areas of responsibility but supports and helps each other when needed. We are constantly learning new things and working to simplify, digitize, and adapt our processes to the needs of the business.
Our payroll system is Visma Personec P.
One of our payroll administrators is moving on to another job within the municipality, and we are looking for her successor.
Responsibilities
In addition to payroll administration, you will also handle other personnel administrative tasks in this role. This includes answering questions regarding salaries and agreements from managers and employees, so you need to be comfortable explaining things both over the phone and in the organization's working groups when necessary. Depending on your competence and experience, we will distribute tasks within the group.
We are constantly working to simplify, digitize, and adapt our processes to the needs of the business. Your role is to participate actively in this work and propose changes.
Qualifications
You have a high school diploma or equivalent with a focus on payroll administration/HR, or experience that we assess as equivalent. You should have worked with payroll administration for a few years. Experience with payroll administration within a municipality or region is advantageous. Previous experience in digitizing and simplifying processes will carry significant weight.
To succeed in this role, you should enjoy structuring your work and following routines, but also appreciate changing and simplifying. You have a holistic view of the work and understand that your role is to support the business operations.
