Bergslagens Artilleriregemente A 9 in Kristinehamn is now recruiting a Conscription Case Officer.
As a conscription case officer at A 9, you will be placed on the unit's HR department and work closely with our training battalion where conscription training takes place.
On the HR department, we work close to operations and deliver good service by being accessible, professional, and responsive to the unit's needs.
Main Responsibilities
As a conscription case officer, you will serve as a support to command in matters concerning the rights and obligations of conscripts before, during, and after their basic training. The work also involves close cooperation with the Swedish National Service and Conscription Authority (PPV), the Army Staff, and the Swedish Armed Forces HR Centre.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Processing needs assessment and war-time placement of conscripts.
- Handling cases of interruption and conducting review boards, etc., during basic and refresher training.
- Serving as a knowledge resource regarding the Total Defence Conscription Act, disciplinary responsibility in the total defence, the Code of Swedish Regulations for the Armed Forces, etc.
- Coordination and support to other parts of the regimental staff and battalion staff as needed, as well as supporting other functions within the department as needed.
Qualifications
- You have an academic degree, preferably within the HR field, or other education and/or experience that the employer deems equivalent.
- Current and relevant work experience in administrative work or work with personnel-related issues.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Good ability and experience in expressing yourself orally and in writing in Swedish.
- Valid Category B driver's license.
Merits
- Previous employment/experience with the Swedish Armed Forces.
- Experience working with the administration of conscripts.
- Experience with the Swedish Armed Forces' support systems, e.g., PRIO (SAP), VIDAR, and ATLAS.
- Experience with war-time placement work.
- Other documented experience in the application of laws, regulations, and directives.

Other Information
The position is civilian. Permanent full-time employment with a 6-month probationary period applies. Start date by agreement. Workplace is Kristinehamn.
The work involves some domestic business travel and occasional overnight stays.
Working conditions usually involve a 40-hour work week, but sometimes occur on irregular hours, e.g., during training exercises.
The position includes 3 hours of physical training during working hours.

The position is security-classified, and we conduct a security investigation with register check according to the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Therefore, you must be a Swedish citizen.
Employment includes war-time placement in the Swedish Armed Forces.
