About the role

At our education section, you are responsible for planning limited education initiatives, both nationally and internationally. Here you have the opportunity to influence, improve, and create long-term sustainable solutions in a complex and socially important environment.

As an education administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring that education support and education administration are carried out correctly. The work involves close collaboration with colleagues.

Main responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

  • coordinating and structuring participants, registrations, and administration regarding education initiatives
  • supporting other units with administrative tasks related to education, training, and exercise activities
  • developing and maintaining routines
  • collaborating with other national and international education bodies and platforms.

We are looking for you who meet the following requirements:

  • Upper secondary education or other equivalent education/experience that the employer deems relevant
  • A few years of current experience working with education activities or similar administration, nationally or internationally
  • Very good computer skills, including the Office package
  • Very good skills in expressing yourself both orally and in writing in Swedish and English

It is meritorious if you have experience of:

  • administrative work within the Swedish Armed Forces or another government agency
  • the Swedish Armed Forces' education system
  • the Swedish Armed Forces' document and case management systems as well as information management in public operations
  • Category B driver's license

Employment entails national and international work obligation. The position is placed in a security class. The selection process will be supplemented with work psychological tests.

In the Headquarters (HQ) are the Supreme Commander (ÖB) and the Director General (GD), who currently have approximately 1,000 employees – both professional officers and civilian experts.
