Turebergsskolan is a school located within walking distance of Sollentuna center. Approximately 230 students in grades F–9 attend the school. We also have a RN-unit with approximately 25 students with mobility impairments, as well as municipality-wide teaching groups for approximately 40 students within the autism spectrum. The school has a well-functioning values-based work and actively works to create an accessible school for every student, and our employees are characterized by great engagement and high competence. We work every day preventively and compensatorily to support students' social and knowledge development. We are the small school with big possibilities!

Responsibilities

As a Math/Science teacher in Turebergsskolan's municipality-wide teaching group (KÖSU), you are responsible for teaching mathematics, all natural science subjects, and technology for two smaller groups of approximately 10 students in grades 7-9. You also have mentorship for one of the groups and work closely with the students to create a safe, structured, and predictable learning environment.

You plan, implement, and follow up on teaching together with social pedagogues and special needs pedagogues, where you jointly adapt arrangements and materials based on the students' individual needs. The role also includes close collaboration with other teachers and special education teachers in the work team, where you share experiences, develop teaching, and take joint responsibility for the students' knowledge and social development.

You actively work with clear pedagogy, low-affective handling, and structured routines to create the best possible conditions for students within the autism spectrum.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a confident, stable, and relationship-building teacher with a good ability to create structure and clarity in teaching. You have a holistic perspective on students' learning and development and collaborate well with colleagues, student health services, and guardians.

You have experience meeting students with varying needs and work with an inclusive and relational leadership style. You are flexible, solution-focused, and have the ability to adapt teaching based on individual prerequisites. You thrive in a work team where collaboration, communication, and joint responsibility are central.

Requirements

• Licensed teacher in Math/Science grades 7–9.
• Qualification in mathematics and natural sciences
• Experience teaching students in need of special support such as neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF) and speech disorders.
• Understanding of and experience in using low-affective handling, clear pedagogy, and relational teacher leadership.
