Responsibilities

The Division of Micro and Nano Systems at KTH's School of Electrical Engineering invites applications for a postdoctoral position in photonic nano-systems. We are looking for candidates who wish to conduct advanced research on photonic nanostructures, sensors, and actuators. In this project, innovative nanoelectromechanical devices will be realized and characterized.

• A completed PhD degree or a foreign degree assessed as equivalent to a PhD. This eligibility requirement must be met by the time the employment decision is made.
• You are scientifically competent.
• We value strong collaboration skills.
• Applicants should have a strong academic background, at least within the fields of micro- and nanotechnology.
• The selected candidate must have an excellent academic record, well-developed analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate who can work independently. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential for publishing and presenting research results at international conferences and in journals.

• No more than three years have passed since the PhD degree or an equivalent foreign degree was awarded by the application deadline.
• Teaching experience is considered an asset.
• You are aware of diversity and equal treatment issues, with a particular focus on gender equality.

About the Position
