Teaching at Futuraskolan International is based on the internationally developed International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC).

We are now looking for a Swedish certified music teacher for grades 7–9.

The position is a full-time (100%) permanent position, starting in August.

We are looking for someone who focuses on learning and the development of learning processes, and who has a strong desire to develop their own learning together with others in a creative and positive work environment.

Since collaboration is a success factor for us, it is important that you have the ability to share your knowledge and take part in others' knowledge in the learning process. It is therefore important that you can work constructively in different constellations such as work and subject teams.

Since we focus on leadership in the classroom, it is important that you can meet different challenges in classroom situations. We have high demands on our students, and the ambition to challenge them with high quality in teaching. It is therefore important that you can work independently and systematically and take own responsibility and own initiatives for planning, implementation, and evaluation of the teaching.

As a person, you have a positive attitude and good treatment in contact with colleagues, students, and parents. You see opportunities, are idea-rich, and are stimulated by challenges. Through a conscious attitude, you create security, trust, and good relationships.

We want to continue to develop to make visible, challenge, and create opportunities to succeed. We develop our teaching methods, we share our knowledge, and we work with collegial learning. ICT is a natural pedagogical aid in teaching. Students and teachers work with G-Suite. Our way of working gives us skilled teachers as well as motivated and engaged parents. Futuraskolan International's Bergtorp students achieve very good results, and we work purposefully to develop the school.
