Our Operations

Hemmestas School is a comprehensive school (grades F–9) with 620 students. We are a school where we develop our work with a clear F–9 perspective.

We actively work with inclusive solutions that permeate the students' entire school day. The school health team is divided into F–6 and 7–9, but also operates with an overarching F–9 perspective. Trust, communication, and the courage to think outside the box permeate our operations. At the school, we have moved from whole classes to half-classes in the subject, which means we are increasing the number of teaching hours.

Your Role

You will teach technology to students in grades 6–9. The position may also include mentorship duties. You will be part of the school's work to develop the subject and participate in the school's development efforts.

Your Experience

You must have a teacher's degree and be certified as a technology teacher. You should be well-versed in the school's governing documents and experienced in analyzing students' academic results, contributing to changes at both the individual and group levels based on these results.

Your Personal Qualities

You are skilled in both verbal and written communication. You find it easy to collaborate with various stakeholders, both within the organization and with external partners, with the aim of providing our students with the best conditions for their education.
