Job Description

The position consists of mother tongue instruction and study guidance in English for grades F-9. The teaching takes place at various primary schools in the municipality, which means you will move between different workplaces. The work is independent and includes planning, implementation, and follow-up of teaching based on the curriculum and syllabus. The assignment also includes documentation as well as contact with students, guardians, and school staff.

You will be part of a work team with other mother tongue teachers and participate regularly in pedagogical conferences and study days. With us, you will have a meaningful job where you contribute to students' language and knowledge development, while being part of a collegial environment.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• English as a mother tongue
• Several years of experience in mother tongue instruction in English in Swedish primary school
• Experience in study guidance in English
• Swedish teacher certification with eligibility in mother tongue
• Good knowledge of Swedish, equivalent to SAS 3 or Swedish B
• Pedagogical education or other education that the employer deems suitable
• Good knowledge of the Swedish primary school system
• Good computer skills
