Vittraskolorna is one of Sweden's leading independent school companies with 24 preschools and primary schools across the country. Together, we are responsible for approximately 8,000 children and students and employ around 1,000 staff. We started our first school in 1993 and have been part of AcadeMedia, the largest education company in the Nordics, since 2008. Vittra is a socially engaged preschool and primary school where children and students learn about themselves and the world. With us, conscious children and students are formed who are given the right tools and knowledge to create a better and more sustainable society. We do this with our unique pedagogical direction based on three parts: conscious learning, courageous culture, and clear structure.
Vittra Östertälje is looking for an engaged, qualified, and certified teacher of German
Vittra Östertälje is located on the outskirts of Östertälje in Södertälje Municipality. The school is situated next to forests and nature areas, and we have access to an outdoor gym, artificial turf fields, a lighted running track, a sports hall, and the Sörmlandsleden trail directly adjacent to the school.
Vittra Östertälje has achieved excellent academic results for several years, and students who have moved on to upper secondary school have returned to tell us that they feel well-prepared for further studies – we are proud of this!
Who we are looking for
We are looking for you who are a certified and qualified educator with extensive experience teaching German. We would like you to be confident in your leadership role, have experience with and value differentiated instruction, focusing on the student's prerequisites and opportunities.
We want you to be an educator who builds your teaching on close pedagogical relationships with the students and who is passionate about meeting students in their individual development based on their experiences, prior knowledge, and abilities.
At Vittra, we strive for a cross-curricular approach that gives students a holistic view and understanding of how different subjects connect.
The position includes teaching German in grades 6-9. The students are divided into language groups, and the teaching is scheduled for two days per week, equivalent to approximately 40%.
At Vittra, you belong to a work team, so it is important that you are interested in participating in and contributing to collegial learning. We value that you want to work in a team and, through the exchange of experience and competence, contribute to the collegial development of the work team and the entire operation.
We are looking for an educator who shares our pedagogical direction based on conscious learning, courageous culture, and clear structure (see vittra.se/om) and who is passionate about "collaborative work".
The position is approximately 40% with a start in August.
