LO-TCO Legal Protection is looking for one or more employment law lawyers

Are you in the middle of your legal career and do you have a few years of experience in legal work under your belt? Do you want to work with employment law in an environment where you can develop and make a real difference?

At LO-TCO Legal Protection, you will work closely with some of Sweden's most experienced employment law lawyers – while continuing to build your own expertise.

We are now looking for one or more lawyers for our employment law unit. This role is ideal for you if you have a strong interest in employment law and want to take the next step in your development.

About the role

As a lawyer here, your responsibilities include:

  • Representing trade unions and their members in court
  • Providing legal advice on employment law matters
  • Contributing to training for union representatives and officials

You will have significant responsibility, but also close support from colleagues. We work together, share knowledge, and develop as a team.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a law degree and a strong interest in employment law
  • Has a few years of experience in legal work, preferably in employment law
  • Has some litigation experience, for example from work in general courts or as a representative
  • Has good communication skills, both oral and written

The following qualifications are a plus:

  • Experience as a clerk in a district court (tingsnotarie)
  • Experience working for a trade union
  • Experience working independently on employment law issues

However, above all, your personal qualities are decisive for us.

To thrive and succeed with us, we believe you:

  • Take responsibility and drive your work forward
  • Have good judgment and can make decisions even in complex situations
  • Easily build trust when meeting with members and union representatives
  • Are pedagogical and can make legal matters understandable to others
  • Enjoy collaborating and contributing to an open and learning work climate

How we work

At our office, knowledge sharing is a natural part of everyday life. We work primarily together in the office, which provides excellent opportunities for guidance and development – although there is some possibility of remote work.

We are part of the trade union movement, which means you need to share our fundamental values regarding a secure and fair labor market.

Want to know more?

If you have questions about the position, you are welcome to contact Unit Manager Josephine Trinder or Union Lawyer Anne Alfredsson (union representative) by phone at 08-676 63 00.

Selection is ongoing, but the final application deadline is August 24, 2026.
