About the position

As a specialist rapporteur at the court, one works specialized within one or several legal areas. In this recruitment, the court is seeking a specialist rapporteur who will work with qualified and independent tasks within several legal areas rather than within a limited specialist area. You will mainly be assigned the more difficult cases but may also be assigned other cases as needed.

As a specialist rapporteur, you follow legal developments and share your knowledge. You lead training sessions, serve as a sounding board for your colleagues, and collaborate with the court's other employees. The assignment includes receiving study visits, participating in projects and working groups, keeping support material updated, working with referrals, and participating in external networks and training.

In this recruitment, the court is seeking a specialist rapporteur for one of the divisions with a focus on social cases.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a law degree or a candidate of law degree. At the start of employment, you are notary-qualified and have worked for at least two years as a reporting lawyer.

To be relevant for the position, you need to be a very skilled lawyer with a particularly developed legal analytical ability and work method. You have such knowledge, competence, and experience that you can efficiently work with, and switch between, several of the more difficult cases within different legal areas. You have a very good written and oral presentation ability, a very good problem-solving ability, and show very good judgment. Your work capacity is very high, and you are very result-oriented and perform the work in a structured and careful manner.

The cases that the specialist rapporteur works with can be very complex, extensive, and varied, and sometimes require quick handling. This places demands on you having a very good adaptability and being able to work very constructively, as well as being positive and professional even under pressure. Part of the work as a specialist rapporteur consists of conveying and training your colleagues within your specialist area and being a support within the specialist area at the court. Therefore, it is important that you have a very good communication ability. As a specialist rapporteur, you work together with the Administrative Court's employees and towards external parties. This places demands on you also having a very good ability to collaborate and establishing trust in your contact with others. We place great importance on your personal qualities.

To be relevant for employment, it is required that you meet high demands regarding judgment, security awareness, and suitability. This means that you stand up for democratic values and the state values that govern the operations of the Courts of Sweden. We demand that you follow current laws. Work samples and tests may become relevant as part of the recruitment process. Register checks may become relevant prior to employment.

Swedish citizenship is a legal requirement.

The employment is a temporary position until August 16, 2027. Start date as soon as possible according to agreement.
