We are now recruiting on behalf of our client for a tax consultant specializing in VAT to join the team in Malmö or Helsingborg. Here you will become part of a growing specialist team where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and long-term customer relationships are in focus. The role is suitable for you who already work with VAT issues today and want to continue building your specialist competence together with experienced and knowledgeable colleagues.

About the Role

In this role, you work closely with customers and colleagues on various types of VAT-related issues. You will have a broad and varied daily routine where you work with everything from ongoing VAT questions and declarations to analyses, investigations, and advice related to both Swedish and international operations. The work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues within tax and other specialist areas, and you will have the opportunity to gradually take on more responsibility as you develop in the role. The tasks include, among other things:

• Ongoing advice within VAT and indirect taxation
• Preparation of materials and drafts for VAT declarations
• VAT investigations and analyses
• Contact and advice to customers in various industries and sizes
• Collaboration with colleagues within areas such as customs, tax, and audit
• Contribute to the development of customer relationships and business-oriented collaborations

About You

We believe that you have a few years of experience working with VAT issues today and that you are driven by the desire to continue developing within the field. You do not need to come from the consulting firm world, but you need to be confident in an advisory and consultative role where customer contact is a natural part of everyday life. We would like you to have an academic education in law, economics, or equivalent, as well as experience in practical work with VAT issues. You have a good understanding of VAT declarations and ongoing VAT management and feel confident working with VAT-related issues in everyday life. Furthermore, you have very good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
