Do you want a key role where you navigate the entire flow from finance to logistics? We are looking for someone who wants to combine their financial expertise in closing and invoicing with operational responsibility for order processing and freight.
About the role
We are currently recruiting, on behalf of our client, a responsible Finance Administrator on a part-time basis (50%) who wishes to combine bookkeeping, invoicing, and order management. This role is perfect for you who want insight into both finance and logistics within an international company. The position is based on-site at the office (mornings) and is initially a 6-month consultancy assignment with good prospects for extension. You will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at our client's premises.
The role requires a high degree of structure and independence. Since the pace is driven by weekly flows, it is crucial that you are skilled at planning your own time, work purposefully, and have the ability to prioritize correctly to always meet the deadlines that arise.
Responsibilities
Your tasks will be evenly distributed between two central areas:
Finance: You handle ongoing bookkeeping, customer invoicing, and support during monthly and annual closing.
Orders & Logistics: You assist with handling freight, printing labels, and preparing goods for transport to customers, primarily within Europe.
Detailed responsibilities include:
- Handling ongoing bookkeeping and customer invoicing.
- Accounting, monthly, and annual closing.
- Customer invoicing and payment follow-up.
- Handling advance invoices and registrations.
- Administering freight, printing labels, and preparing all logistics documentation.
- Ensuring goods are packaged and shipped smoothly to customers, primarily within Europe.
We are looking for someone who
- Is fluent in Swedish and has good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
- Has good knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting, and monthly and annual closing.
- Has experience with customer invoicing, payment follow-up, as well as handling and registering advance invoices.
- Has a background in service roles where professional interaction and collaboration with customers and suppliers were central to ensuring timely deliveries.
- Has a high degree of independence with the ability to plan, structure, and prioritize your own time to meet weekly deadlines.
It is an advantage if you have
- Experience in preparing deliveries, freight documents, and labels.
- Experience with international deliveries and freight handling.
