Are you passionate about the pedagogy of the leisure-time center (fritidshem) and creative subjects? We are looking for a Leisure-Time Center Teacher!

Are you a certified Leisure-Time Center Teacher who wants to combine your passion for leisure-time pedagogy with teaching in Art or Technology? Then we have the perfect position for you at Vittra Vallentuna. We are looking for a driven and engaged colleague who wants to take overall responsibility for the school day of our older students.

Your Role

The position is a full-time position (summer cover) and involves a combined role where you both teach during the school day and work in the leisure-time center.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Teaching: You are responsible for teaching Art for grades 4–5 and Technology for grade 5. You plan, conduct, and assess teaching based on the national curriculum.

• Pedagogical Responsibility at Leisure-Time: You have overall pedagogical responsibility for your leisure-time department. Together with your colleagues, you drive, develop, and ensure the quality of the leisure-time center's activities so that they stimulate students' development and learning.

• Relationship Building: You create a safe, meaningful, and inclusive environment for the students throughout their entire school day and collaborate effectively with class teachers and guardians.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a certified Leisure-Time Center Teacher with the qualifications to teach in Art, Technology, or both subjects.

• You have a secure leadership style and a good ability to structure both goal-oriented teaching and the more free-form activities of the leisure-time center.

• You are creative, proactive, and passionate about developing the pedagogical mission of the leisure-time center.

• You are a team player who finds it easy to collaborate, build good relationships, and communicate with both students and colleagues as well as guardians.
