Do you want to help guide our students toward their future? Vittra Vallentuna is now looking for an engaged and professional Study and Career Counselor (SYV) who wants to become an important part of our school community. This position is perfect for you if you wish to combine it with another assignment, studies, or retirement.

Your Role

The position is a permanent part-time employment at 20%, which corresponds to one working day per week. We will determine which day in consultation with you to best suit the operations and your schedule.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Counseling: Individual counseling sessions as well as group counseling for students regarding further studies and future career choices.
• Information: Informing students and guardians about upper secondary school choices, educational pathways, and the labor market.
• Collaboration: Organizing and maintaining contacts regarding work experience placements (prao), and collaborating with teachers and the student health team to integrate the SYV role into daily teaching.
• Documentation: Administrative work and documentation related to study and career counseling.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who holds a degree in Study and Career Counseling.

• You have a genuine interest in young people and the ability to meet each student based on their unique circumstances.
• You are independent and structured, as you own and drive the SYV process at the school during your working day.
• You are communicative and find it easy to collaborate with students, colleagues, and guardians.
