Stockholm – our capital city of millions of dreams, expectations, and ambitions. We work for everyone who lives here today and in the future. Now we are looking for you who want to think big, new, and different with us – for the people of Stockholm.
Workplace Description
Anna Whitlocks Gymnasium is the city's largest upper secondary school with approximately 2,200 students. We offer university-preparatory programs ES, EK, NA, SA, and TE, with eleven different specializations/profiles, including two, Design and Life Science for NA and SA, as well as the Individual Alternative IMA – a special pedagogical profile within AST. The major issues of our time, as expressed in the global goals, permeate our operations. We are a school focused on education for sustainable development.
To work towards the school's vision, teaching and learning are organized in cross-program teaching teams. The students' work week consists of longer, cohesive work blocks that enable different working methods and reduce the fragmentation of time and content for students and teachers.
Our teaching teams are led by career teachers. The Student Health Team is also a team led by a team leader who is also a member of the Student Health Team. Each member of the Student Health Team is also part of their own teaching team. Together with the school management and teachers, the Student Health Team develops routines and working methods for student health work at Anna Whitlocks Gymnasium. The work is preventive and health-promoting at the individual, group, and organizational levels and aims to support students' development towards the goals.
