IVO's mandate and area of responsibility are growing. We are refining both our working methods and our organization to be able to take on a larger role. Over the coming years, we will need to increase our number of employees.

As part of our change process, IVO has introduced a new organizational level, business areas, along with business area managers. Within the Division for Operational Support, there are three business areas with subordinate units.

The Business Area of Registry and Archives is responsible for archives, registration and diary management, the authority's information management, as well as the coordination of issues regarding the disclosure of documents or information.

You are a clear leader and employer representative, with a good understanding of the employer role both in relation to employees and to senior management. Furthermore, you have the ability to communicate and anchor strategic decisions and messages in a way that is understandable and appropriate. The role requires a responsive, engaged, and developmental leadership style, with a focus on leading, coaching, and developing subordinate unit managers in line with IVO's mission and goals.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

  • A law degree (Jur. Cand.), archivist education, or equivalent as assessed by the employer as relevant,
  • Several years of experience in managerial roles at a government agency,
  • Experience in leading and developing operations with clear quality and legal security requirements,
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience in strategic work within registry and information management
  • Good knowledge of the laws governing information management in public operations, including the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act, the Freedom of the Press Act, and the Archives Act.
  • Experience in leading other managers or supervisors, such as team leaders, project managers, and/or inspection leaders.
  • Experience in major change and improvement work, such as digitalization and IT development work within registry or a corresponding area.

Personal Attributes

You have very good collaboration skills and work with a clear holistic and developmental perspective. You thrive at the intersection of strategy and operational execution and have the ability to translate overarching goals into concrete action plans and clear assignments. You are structured, solution-oriented, and good at prioritizing. You have good planning and coordination skills and ensure that efforts are carried out efficiently. You create direction, learning, and progress.
