Täby Friskola is Täby's oldest independent primary school, with approximately 800 students from preschool class to grade 9, spread across four different units. Our focus is on student well-being and learning, where we are keen on creating the right conditions for students to acquire knowledge in both theoretical and practical subjects. At our units, we offer a calm environment characterized by peace and quiet, as well as order and structure. For several years, Täby Friskola has worked with a high focus on knowledge and student well-being, which go hand in hand to achieve high results.

Skilled teachers are absolutely essential to provide students with a good education, and we are now looking for a qualified teacher in Social Studies (SO) for grades 7–9 at our Enhagen unit. We are looking for you who enjoy taking significant personal responsibility for the teaching and its quality together with your closest colleagues, and who are passionate about reaching out to students. You have a positive view of students and understand the importance of good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Qualified teacher with authorization to teach Social Studies in grades 7–9. Authorization in more than one Social Studies subject is an advantage.
• Experience teaching in grades 7–9 is an advantage.
• Good ability to work independently and in groups, with a solution-oriented and inclusive approach.
• A natural part of your leadership, where you value student influence and use positive and clear communication in the classroom.
