About the job
As a Fund Administrator, you work with fund trading and fund administration, as well as follow-up of financial flows related to fund operations. The role involves responsibility for daily administrative processes and close collaboration and ongoing contact with fund companies, framework agreement banks, the Swedish National Debt Office, the National Audit Office, and internal stakeholders. You will actively contribute to developing and streamlining working methods, processes, internal controls, and routines within the premium pension system.
Your tasks include, among other things:
- Analyses and investigations related to fund trading and premium pension
- Planning of fund trading and currency trading related to changes on the fund market
- Control and quality assurance of NAV, exchange rates, and other fund data
- Management support
- Administration and reconciliation of fund trading
- Internal control, follow-up, and reporting
- AML/KYC issues
- Register maintenance and quality assurance of fund and transaction information
Your profile
As a Fund Administrator, you are meticulous, structured, and quality-conscious with an analytical approach and a strong interest in figures. You have the ability to see the big picture, digest large amounts of information and complex data, and drive your work forward in a structured manner.
You are responsible and have high integrity. Furthermore, you have good communication skills and express yourself clearly and correctly in speech and writing in both Swedish and English, with the ability to explain financial connections in an easy-to-understand way. You work independently while enjoying collaboration and building good relationships, both internally and externally.
The role also requires a flexible and solution-oriented approach, where you can adapt to varying tasks and are driven by developing and improving processes and working methods.

We are looking for someone who has:
- An academic degree, preferably in engineering, economics, statistics, or mathematics.
- Several years of experience in the financial sector or securities administration within fund companies, banks, insurance companies, or other financial institutions.
- Experience in controlling and reconciling fund transactions or securities trades.
- Good understanding of currency management and currency hedging within fund management.
- Experience in investigations and report writing.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing.
- Very good knowledge of Excel and is accustomed to working with large data sets, formulas, pivot tables, and financial analyses.
It is meritorious if you have experience with:
- UCITS funds and fund regulations
- Return calculations and financial follow-up
- Invoicing and follow-up of kick-backs
- Process development, streamlining, and system tests
- Automation and development of Excel-based reporting solutions
- AML/KYC processes and regulatory requirements within the financial sector

Good to know
The position is permanent and full-time with start date according to agreement. The location is Stockholm, where our office is located at Hornstull. We apply a six-month probation period.
The position may be placed in a security classification.
During the vacation period, we have limited opportunities to answer questions, which may result in slightly longer response times.

The Swedish Pension Agency is responsible for the public pension and informs about the entire pension. Every year, we pay out approximately 415 billion SEK to 2.3 million pensioners, carry out approximately 911,000 fund swaps, and send out 8 million orange envelopes. We have approximately 25 million digital customer contacts per year. We have approximately 1,700 employees at eight locations, from Luleå in the north to Halmstad in the south.
