Contract and Property Manager at the Swedish Red Cross
The Red Cross is looking for an engaged and development-oriented Contract and Property Manager for our central organization. In this role, you will have the opportunity to combine contract issues, property/premises issues, and logistics issues while contributing to our humanitarian mission.

About the role
The role involves overall responsibility for contracts, premises, and property-related issues, ensuring efficient solutions for the organization through close collaboration with internal operations and external suppliers. You contribute to creating functional, efficient, and sustainable environments that enable the Red Cross's humanitarian work.
Your main tasks:
- Property management of the organization's premises, contracts, and rental law, ensuring purposeful and efficient use of spaces.
- Work on sustainability issues related to premises (energy, environment, social sustainability).
- Contract issues within the organization, including general contract matters, support to purchasers, and leading negotiations with suppliers in priority areas.
- Responsibility for property-related services (maintenance, cleaning, security, equipment), including accountability to property owners, landlords, and suppliers.
- Insurance issues – contracts and negotiations with suppliers.
- Safety responsibility for perimeter security – solutions and supplier responsibility, fire safety work.
- Coordination for office services and office managers for the SRK's various offices across the country, including workplace environment rounds with responsible managers.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations in related areas of responsibility.
About you
We are looking for you who have:
- Relevant university education in law, property management, and/or property economics.
- Many years of experience in property management and/or premises supply.
- Many years of experience in procurement and contract management, as well as negotiations with suppliers with good results.
- Experience working with logistics issues.
- Experience with budget responsibility.
- Leadership experience.
You are:
- Structured.
- Business-minded and solution-oriented.
- Good at negotiation and collaboration.
- Independent with good prioritization skills.
- Very good at collaboration and communication.
- Engaged in societal issues and shares the Red Cross's values.

Other information
The position is a permanent full-time employment located at our office on Lindhagensgatan in Stockholm. The role may involve travel within Sweden, primarily to our other staff offices in Malmö, Gothenburg, and Umeå.
We apply goal-oriented working hours and flexible work, meaning you have the opportunity to work from another location up to two days a week, based on the organization's conditions and in consultation with your manager.
We apply a 6-month probation period. Start date by agreement.
