Tom Tits Experiment is looking for a Business Developer and Partner Manager with a background in natural sciences, technology, and/or sustainability. You are an inspirer and knowledge disseminator who, like us, is convinced that curiosity and joyful learning within natural sciences and technology contribute to a more democratic and sustainable society. You will be driving how we can combine business development and social benefit through strategic partnerships. You will also be involved in our pedagogical process, both strategically and operationally. You will represent Tom Tits in various contexts through lectures, workshops, and networking.

Assignment and Competency Requirements

In the role of Business Developer and Partner Manager, you are responsible for developing strategic partnerships that contribute to strengthening Tom Tits' mission and innovative capacity within natural sciences and technology, funding, and long-term relevance. You work both strategically and operationally to identify, develop, and manage partnerships with companies, organizations, municipalities, academia, and other societal actors.

Organizationally, you belong to the Marketing, Business Development & Sales unit, but the assignment is broad and permeates large parts of the operations. The role also includes a pedagogical assignment where you, together with educators at Tom Tits, work to ensure scientific anchoring in the development of exhibitions, school programs, event activities, and program operations.

Examples of Tasks and Responsibilities

You:

• drive the strategic and operational work with partnerships
• are responsible for the process of collaboration projects – from idea to implementation, project management, and follow-up, with responsibility for ensuring results are utilized and contribute to the development of the operations
• work operationally with grant and funding applications – mapping, project management, and writing applications
• represent Tom Tits through speaking engagements, participation in industry forums, local, national, and international networks
• deliver training within the framework of our pedagogical mission, in collaboration with Tom Tits educators

About Tom Tits Experiment

Tom Tits Experiment is a cross-disciplinary Science Center whose purpose is to create joy of discovery for everyone by making natural sciences, technology, and sustainability accessible and joyful. In addition, Tom Tits is active in local, national, and international projects with the goal of supporting schools within natural sciences, technology, and sustainable development. With just over 60 employees, they run exhibition operations, teacher education, their own preschool, restaurant, café, conference and event facilities, and a shop.
