The Child and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Committee and the Primary School Committee. The administration is responsible for preschool activities, school-age care, primary school, and adapted primary school. Our most important task is to give all children and students in Huddinge the opportunity to develop to their full potential in a safe educational environment. About the workplace

Skogskällan is a unit-parallel F-3 and three-parallel 4-6 school. At Skogskällan, our dedicated and competent educators work to support students to reach their full potential through adaptations and an inclusive approach. The leisure center is divided into leisure time F-3 and Eftis 4-6, which, in collaboration with the school, work to develop our students both academically and socially. The school's fantastic location, with proximity to nature and sports facilities, inspires and enables various types of outdoor activities during the school day. At Skogskällan, we work for a fun and stimulating break activity where students and staff together create activities adapted to different ages and interests. We are now looking for two teachers, a textile crafts teacher and a wood crafts teacher, for our fine school!

Job responsibilities

Being a teacher and professional educator in Huddinge Municipality means that you have high expectations and a belief that all students can achieve success based on their conditions. You build good relationships, both with students and with guardians, built on trust and respect. You are aware of your own influence on students' learning. Based on student results, research, and proven experience, you follow up on the quality of teaching, reflect, and evaluate with the aim of developing teaching. We work with collegial learning, which means that you collaborate with colleagues to develop yourself, your teaching, and the school's pedagogical work.

Your profile

You are a certified textile crafts teacher for grades 3-6 and you are well familiar with Lgr22 and have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish. It is meritorious if you are also qualified in other subjects in addition to textile crafts.

You are flexible and have good cooperation skills, have an easy time building good relationships and collaborating with students, guardians, the work team, the school's student health team, and school leadership. In your pedagogical leadership, you are a clear leader and in the classroom, you have the ability to create a work environment characterized by safety, trust, and respect. With good didactic skills, good subject knowledge, a clear structure, and varied teaching adapted to the individual student, you create the best conditions for our students to achieve the knowledge requirements in Lgr22. You see documentation and assessment of students' knowledge development as a natural part of your work. You have good ability for analysis and reflection and constantly develop your teaching.
