RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome to Bäckaslöv School! We are a two-parallel F-6 school located in the southern area of central Växjö. The school currently has approximately 330 students, and there is proximity to culture, parks, and the Bokhult nature reserve from the school's location.
Our school possesses the knowledge, warmth, and care needed to create a learning and safe environment for everyone. We constantly work to build the good relationships that form the foundation for achieving high goal fulfillment. Well-being, collaboration, and collegial learning are truly valued here!
We are looking for an after-school teacher who will also work within the school's operations.
In your role, you work in the classroom during the mornings and continue within the after-school activities in the afternoons. You plan jointly and systematically with the rest of the after-school staff to create good conditions for the after-school activities.
Work joy, high expectations, and clear goals are obvious starting points for us. The school and the after-school center share a joint responsibility for the students' learning, development, and well-being. During the school day, you are an important part of school collaboration, where your after-school pedagogical assignment permeates the work.
In addition to knowledge in various school subjects, the students should also have the opportunity during the combined school day to develop self-esteem, identity, interaction, and various social skills. The after-school center's activities play a major role in this context, and the goal is a meaningful after-school time for all students. We currently have four after-school departments with age-integrated groups.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are educated and licensed as an after-school teacher, but students who are at the end of their education are also welcome to apply.

- are structured and clear, take initiative, and have a large portion of engagement and flexibility
- have a conscious thought about your role and have a positive approach
- have the ability to meet each student based on their conditions.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-09-01 or according to agreement.
