RESPONSIBILITIES

Welcome to the Education Administration!

Here, you have the opportunity to make a difference for our children and students. We are responsible for approximately 18,000 children and students and work every day to ensure they develop and achieve increased goal fulfillment. We want children to enter our operations as curious, creative one-year-olds and leave us as engaged, knowledgeable, and independent 19-20-year-olds.

Centrumskolan offers grades from preschool class to grade 6, and we have 320 students. Each grade level has two classes, and each grade has a grade team that works closely together in multi-teacher collaboration. We focus on our development areas: shared perspective in assessment and planning, instructional design, and language-developing instruction in all subjects. The school has a student health team with special educators, special teachers, a counselor, and a school nurse. We have our own library with a full-time librarian. We place great emphasis on our three development areas, collaborating closely with all our staff.

The position is part of a work team for grades F-3 (preschool class to grade 3) but also part of a grade team where you work together to drive and develop the work in the grade towards our common goals. Every student should have the opportunity to develop based on their prerequisites, feel confident in their own abilities, and develop into their best selves.

You apply multi-teacher collaboration where you teach subject pairs with a colleague. Together with your colleagues, you plan, implement, assess, and evaluate instruction in accordance with our governing documents, as well as starting from collegial learning. You always have the student's learning in focus based on our joint work on a shared perspective regarding pedagogical, social, and physically accessible learning environments. At our school, it is important to build trusting relationships and be curious about our students' experiences, interests, development, and learning. You create good relationships with guardians to promote collaboration between school and home.

The employment percentage for this position can be adjusted between 80% and 100%.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a degree/teacher certification and are qualified to teach in grades F-3. You exercise clear leadership and work structured based on current governing documents and a professional approach.

The ideal candidate has:
