RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a special educator who wants to become part of our team at Strömstiernaskolan. Your role as a special educator includes developing preventive and promoting student health work at Strömstiernaskolan in collaboration with the principal and other staff.

The duties consist of consultation and supervision, special educational investigations, observations of students, teachers, and classes, educational initiatives, participation in student health teams and networks, and collaboration with external actors. You will serve as a qualified conversation partner regarding special educational matters with the school's staff and guardians. You will also supervise the school's staff in special educational matters and conduct assessments at the individual, group, and organizational levels.

As a special educator, you will collaborate closely with the school principal, focusing on systematic quality work regarding development issues and student health.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are trained as a special educator and are a certified teacher for grades 7–9. You are welcome to also be a certified teacher in mathematics. We are also interested in candidates who have started or intend to start special education training. It is an advantage if you have worked as a special educator in primary school. Digital competence is a requirement for handling information and documentation and is a natural part of teaching.

Furthermore, you should be able to adopt other perspectives without compromising your own competence, and you should have the ability to convey your knowledge to others.
