Medborgarskolan Region West, with its regional office in Gothenburg, covers Västra Götaland and Halland and has over 45 activity locations throughout the region. We are a non-profit association that, in addition to traditional adult education, also runs school activities, corporate training, and activities within the labor market area. Medborgarskolan Region West has a turnover of approximately 185 million SEK and employs around 200 people.

Course Leader Wanted – Diploma Course in Economics and Accounting (Real-time Distance Learning)

We are looking for an engaged and knowledgeable course leader for our diploma course in economics and accounting. The course is conducted remotely in real-time and is aimed at participants who wish to develop their knowledge in the economic field to start their own business or seek a job in accounting and finance.

About the Role

As a course leader, you are responsible for planning and conducting teaching in the following areas:

• Continuous bookkeeping
• Accounts receivable and payable management
• Year-end closing
• Basic payroll administration

The teaching takes place entirely remotely in real-time, which requires strong pedagogical skills in digital learning environments.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Documented education in economics/accounting or equivalent work experience
• Good knowledge and practical experience in:
• Bookkeeping
• Accounts receivable and payable management
• Year-end closing
• Basic payroll administration
• Experience with both manual bookkeeping and database bookkeeping
• Good knowledge of the business system Spiris
• References that can verify your competence

Other Requirements

• Experience in teaching or leading remote courses
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
