About the Role
Region Västernorrland is undergoing a comprehensive digital transformation focused on data-driven care, AI, modern portfolio management, and enhanced implementation capacity. This role is central to translating strategy into concrete action. Our mission within digitalization is to act as a strategic partner driving the region's digital transformation forward. By acting as catalysts for innovation and development, we create the prerequisites for increased digital maturity and long-term plans for IT, data, and digitalization. We are a competent and driven team that collaborates closely with leadership and other stakeholders to support strategic planning and tactical implementation.
We are now looking for a cross-regional Business Developer. The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date as agreed.
Responsibilities
As a Business Developer, you play a key role in holding the region's development initiatives together and creating success in our business development. You structure the strategic work, follow up on efforts, and ensure that goals and strategies are implemented. There are opportunities for growth into process ownership and methods related to business development.
Your responsibilities include:
- Mapping the current state: processes, working methods, responsibilities, problems, and needs.
- Identifying improvements, what takes too long, creates double work, or does not yield the desired benefit.
- Leading development projects from idea to implementation and follow-up.
- Analyzing, structuring, and visualizing ongoing and planned digitalization efforts, focusing on the connection to strategy, benefit realization, and target vision.
- Producing qualified decision support materials, presentations, and analyses for executive boards, planning processes, and other strategic forums.
- Leading or driving own development assignments within digitalization, portfolio management, or business development.
- Developing and further developing common working methods, methods, and control models within project, portfolio, and change management.
- Providing methodological support to managers and project leaders in areas such as benefit realization, change management, and follow-up.
- Conducting workshops, interviews, and work meetings.
We would like you to have strong analytical skills, demonstrated by structuring complex information and translating it into clear conclusions and recommendations.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who
- Have a relevant university degree for the position, preferably at the master's level, or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways.
- Have education in project management, improvement knowledge, and coaching leadership.
- Have documented experience leading development assignments in a complex organization with multiple involved actors, dependencies, and stakeholders.
- Have professional experience in improvement and development work within business development and digitalization.
- Have professional experience in producing decision support materials and structured documentation.
- Have professional experience working in or with executive functions.
- Have very good skills in Swedish and good skills in English, both spoken and written.
It is an advantage if you
- Have in-depth knowledge in business development, improvement work, and process optimization.
- Have an understanding of business development within healthcare and its processes.
- Have documented experience in project and process management in a complex organization.
- Have experience working in a politically governed organization.
- Have experience working in a role responsible for cross-functional coordination and strategic support to executive boards.
- Have experience in project management, benefit realization, quality improvement, and process optimization.
- Have experience in strategic and operational development work.
