You contribute every shift to creating safety and security for the customer and society at large, as your work creates preventive protection against crime, improved fire safety, and much more. You will meet all citizens of society, and it is important that you are clear, calm, and able to make thoughtful decisions.

Qualifications

In addition to the personal qualities we seek and describe, you must meet basic requirements to qualify for the position:

• be of legal age before starting the assignment
• high school diploma
• good Swedish skills in speech and writing
• Category B driver's license

You also need to be unencumbered*, drug-free, have a sound economy, as well as good health and physical fitness to be employed at Avarn Security.

Security guard training is meritorious for these positions. Other meritorious qualifications include experience in the security industry, some technical knowledge, additional language skills beyond Swedish and English, and previous experience working in public environments.

If you have the right profile for Avarn and proceed in the process but do not already hold the prescribed education (VU1, VU2), we will cover your training! The security guard training (VU1, 9 days) is conducted at BYA Bevakningsbranschens Yrkes- och Arbetsmiljönämnd. Participation in this is a prerequisite for employment.
